Last Man Standing Fundraiser - May 9th

Congrats to Niall Sheehan, Michael Cremin and Donal Hosey who all managed to survive the final day of fixtures in the Premiership. 
 This seasons competition is now finished but we'll be doing it again at the start of next season so why not pop us an email to get a reminder !!

4 fallers at the last hurdle - Spurs, Man City and Liverpool all left us down.
We've still got 3 men standing and they all get to share the prizemoney.

How does it work? All you need to do is to nominate a premiership winning team each week (each team can be used only once) until you're the last man standing - if your team loses or draws, you're out!!
For example if you had picked Liverpool on Feb 28th you'd be in the next round (Liverpool 2-1 Everton),
 if you'd picked Chelsea you'd be out (Chelsea 2-4 Man City)

Rules
1 It’s simple, just pick the winner of one Premier League match each week. If your selection wins you progress to the next week, lose or draw and you're out.
2 For the first round of the competition the Lions Club is giving one pass where, if your chosen team draws instead of wins, you will be allowed into the next round. If your team loses you’re still out. This draw “Mulligan” will only be given for the first round.
3 Once a selection is made, you will not have the ability to change it.
4 You may not pick the same team to win more than once during the competition.
5 All selections must be received at lastmanstanding@corklionsclub.ie no later than midday on Friday of each week.
6 Should you forget to make your selection in any week, you will automatically be assigned the highest ranking team that you have not used previously. Once a team is automatically selected, you will not have the ability to change the selection.
7 In the event that any match involving a team you have selected is postponed or cancelled for any reason, you will continue to the next round. However, that team will no longer be available for selection.
8 Should two or more participants remain standing and all are eliminated in the same week, the Last Man Standing prize will be distributed equally among them.
9 Rounds of fixtures may take place on weekends or mid-week, depending on available fixtures. Cork Lions Club will decide which fixtures are included for each round.
10 Should the Tournament not have reached a conclusion by the end of the 2009/2010 Premier League Season, the prize money will be distributed equally among the remaining contstants.
11 Cork Lions Club reserves the right to amend these rules at anytime. Any such revision will be binding and effective immediately on posting of notification of such changes on the web site. Your continued use of this game will constitute acceptance of the rules.
